Directing/Coaching

For now, I am putting Directing/AD-ing and Vocal Coach projects in the same place because a) I don’t have a ton of either one and b) to me, they are not that different.  In directing, I try to coach out the actor’s voice and help him or her mold it to the character at hand, and in vocal coaching I try to help the actor more easily access his or her voice so that the character of the text can be expressed with facility.  They don’t sound that different, do they?
